Needs some practice, but it feels good just to be in the air.

Just fly in the sim, so I need to say. Simulators are great!

For shure, but man, this is so addictive! I just spent some time tuning pids and rates to feel better. The default is too stiff for me.

But for real, there can be some addiction warning on quads!

For freestyle, I am building the Armattan Rooster next. Looks like an awesome frame and will take abuse.

The martian is a copy of the Alien. The Reverb is a new and improved Alien that is a few dollars cheaper.

I like Armattan's frames. The Chameleon is older. The Rooster is brand new and only one batch has shipped so far, it might be in short supply for awhile. Also the 4" Japalura for a few dollars less.

Some more copies from Banggood.
GEPRC GEP-KX5 Elegant
Realacc Genius 215
Realacc X210
Realacc Phoenix X210S
XY215 V2 215MM
GEPRC GEP-IX5

Oscar's list of frames.

Lots of choices now days.

Also most of the popular frames have spare parts available. Arms if replacable, top and bottom plates, etc. Something to look into if you like the frame you are using and want to keep some around.

Love the maiden video Smile
looks like your camera angle tilt is a bit too much for a first timer! consider lowering that, it will help tame the quad Smile

if you have spare frames you will need spare motors,esc's,FC's,camera,vtx......
hell, whats the point of parts in the box might as well fly them..
and you have to have at least one spare quad you take flying in case you crash your favorite.

but look on the bright side you could be spending lots of time on unsavory sites the internet.

Yup you got my plan! I just build my first quad. second is on the way.. And about third, who knows Big Grin
Buying spare parts are ok if they are in big discount :Big Grin like martian now 40%

Banggood discounts are not true discount. Don't fall for it. Martian have always been around $20-30.
