I know it's twice as much... but a radio is something you're going to be using across multiple models as you fly. You should bite the bullet and go with a better radio and get something like QX7 which would only require a USB mini cable to connect to your computer.
https://www.getfpv.com/frsky-taranis-q-x...6xEALw_wcB I don't think that the FlySky has a USB interface so it might require additional equipment to hook up to the computer anyway...
Whereas the Taranis just needs one of these:

72 Go for the X6B receiver. It's small, full range and has telemetry.

15 i've started with flysky and so far still flying on it, at some point i will move to other products... but still this is enough to cover my skills and it is much smaller than q7s etc.
as for the receiver go for what unseen said X6b half of standard FC size... unless you will plan to go for 20x20 but seeing you want to go with wizard you are good to go with X6b.
All the best

388 I would give my opinion, but I think I will just going to blow budget. Otherwise, what these guys suggested are good advice.
I am the type of person that always wanted to upgrade. Personally, I find myself wanting to upgrade sooner than later. If you are like me, you get the best that you can. Especially goggles and TX. These two items you will use through out.

65 I started on the FlySky i6 and it was an ok radio for the price...was hard to beat it then for budget beginnings. I always looked up to the FrSky x9 and really planned on getting one...then the x7 came about. Jumped at it and have never looked back. Radio and goggles are where your investment resides as they are the core of your flight system. Drones come and go, but the radio is there for likely all of them.
My daughter is not using the FlySky and she likes it because it fits her hands better. For that, she flies my Taranis better with almost identical drones.
The x7 has a USB port and I have used it with FreeRider. It is fun!

OMG, no one told me it would be this much fun! Addicted :)

1 For reals, this is a solid answer. Hard to beat it. It is basically the Taranis *lite* and is still incredible!
