Congress represents those who pay them, not those who elect them. Those who are paying Congress want us hobbyists out of the lower airspace, period. Until us hobbyists pay more than those currently paying Congress we really don’t stand a chance either way.

I generally decided that I'm done even paying attention to the new rules and such. If they're so disinterested in representing the average man, they aren't deserving of my respect. My nation's founders refused to even pay taxes unless they were given a voice in the government. Now that government will turn your life upside down if you skip taxes, and no representative cares what the little guy wants.

Respect is a two way street, and their side is little more than a smoldering crater.

Personally I don’t think RID was meant to be a workable solution. It was meant to discourage.
