Dji Goggles v2 or Integra?
#1
Hi guys!

I am searching for a set of used goggles for my newly built 5inch drone which is equipped with o3 air unit.

I have found in my area a couple of goggles v2 sets and a set of integra.

Which one do you think I should go with? I believe that both set will be fine at this stage (I just started out with fpv quads).

Are there any limitations that I should be aware of if between the 2 options?

Thanks in advance!

This is an area well covered by YouTube channels like Bardwell and Mad Angler, etc, etc.

V2 Goggles: goes up to 120Hz, supports WTFOS on older vista air units if you care about them

Goggles 2: max of 100Hz but the screens are OLEDS and they are smaller goggles

I might be wrong with this but I believe the field of view is larger in the older V2 goggles. The resolution isn't as high and some prefer smaller field of view for better control but I personally prefer larger field of view for more immersive experience.

integra has a separate set of diopter inserts whereas the 2s have them built in. something to think about.

I have the fpv 2 and since getting the integras dont use them except for my vista quads and ridealongs. I dont even need to use the diopters in the integras.

I believe the OP is referring to the DJI FPV Goggles V2 vs the DJI Goggles Integra, not the DJI Goggles 2 vs the DJI Goggles Integra. Blame DJI for using idiotic similar naming conventions for their different products which just confuse everyone.

Neither the DJI FPV Goggles V2 nor the DJI Goggles Integra have built in adjustable optic focusing capabilities which means that diopter inserts must be used (if required). Only the DJI Goggles 2 (with the touchpad on the side) have the adjustable optics focusing feature.

The OP seems to have already selected the DJI FPV Goggles V2 based on their most recent post HERE.

Since the OP has already chosen, maybe a little off topic, but adding some thoughts on the G2 as I saw a pair being sold for cheap. I only have the V2 and not actually tried the G2 but would like to, so mostly hearsay...

Goggles 2
+ No need to rebind when switching between different modes (ie OG air unit, O3, FPV)
+ Built in diopter adjustments
+ Small and light
+ High resolution 1080p OLED screens = better color/contrast/sharpness
+ Compatibility with DJI camera drones (like Mini/Mavic 3)
- Smaller less immersive FOV
- Bad fitment (of course will depend on your face)
- Lots of complaints edge out of focus (also depend on your face/eyes)
- Lens too close to the eyes
- poor venting may fog easier
+/- touchpad control

I don't believe I said anything counter to this? I said Integra and 2.

Didn't see him post another topic regarding this. I'll start stalking people.

No, you said nothing wrong at all, but the OP specifically asked for info on the DJI FPV Goggles V2 and not the DJI Goggles 2, so I posted to clarify in order to avoid anyone reading this thread (including the OP) getting confused, because many people still think that when DJI FPV Goggles V2 is mentioned it's referring to the DJI Goggles 2, or vice versa. It's 100% the fault of DJI for using dumb conflicting naming conventions for their products.

Don't give them any ideas.

From my understanding the fit is slightly different, but now that the goggles 3 are out, I guess it's now goggles 2 vs integra vs goggles 3 lol.
