Brother can help me please? I need build a antenna for drone fpv, helical 5.8 ghz 7 turn, any can help me how i can calculate ?? Thanks very much
I used calculate of internet to build the antenna but i dont know if is correct
5800mhz
Turns 7
Turn spacing .25 wavelengths
When i calculate in the website http://jcoppens.com/ant/helix/calc.en.php
The result it is
Wavelength 51.7
Ideal diameter internal of the copper 17.6mm
Gain 11.45
Conductor diameter 1mm
Winding steel ( between centers) 12.9mm
Separation of the adapter section .4mm
Total conductor length 398.5
Minimum reflector diameter 32mm
Total antenna lenght 90.5mm
I do the drew in solid works and i printed it, i used in my googles analog with rapid fire and vtx tbs unify 800 mw but i not have good signal, i dont know if i have any error in the calculator, any can help me please?
This is my first test, the signal up of osd is the antenna 7 turn and the signal down is omnidirectional i think that is bad or no?
