Crossfire nano rx bound but no inputs
#1
I have just received my Geprc Phantom with XM+ rx, I couldn't bind it with my Tx16s so I replace it with a Crossfire nano rx. They are bound with solid green light on the rx but no input in Receiver tab on Betaflight. I have checked and tried everything I could but no help. Please can anyone help me with this?

What flight controller are you using? Your BF settings look correct, although the no custom defaults found warning could be an issue.

Can you also provide clear photos of the wiring between the Crossfire RX and FC? You have connected TX to RX and RX to TX?

Its Stable F411 from Geprc I think (https://www.banggood.com/GEPRC-PHANTOM-T...mywishlist). Here are the wiring photos and a picture from Tx16s if this is what you mean by TX to RX and RX to TX.

You have the RX wired to the inverted SBUS pins (and backwards). You need to move the TX and RX wires back a row to the non-inverted UART2 (red circle). Note the TX and RX are opposite from the front row. The white wire should go to R2 and the yellow wire to T2.

Hi
I am quite new in FPV- just trying, I was not satisfied with frsky xm+ (GEPRC phantom), so I swaped to TBS crossfire- FRSKY X-LITE.
I use TBS nano Tx and Rx- Tx and Rx is bound, but I cannot get working input in betaflight,
I reflashed TBS, upgraded openTX on FRSKY X-lite, upgraded betaflight from 3.5.7 to 4.2.9 and 4.2.8 (with full chip rease) and nothing helps, I even resoldered everything 3x,
sending image of soldering and dump files, if you see any error,
Thanks in advance[Image: AzB0SOCl.jpg]

Your wiring and settings all look fine. Do you have a green LED on the Crossfire Nano RX?

Run the Crossfire or Agent Lite LUA script and under the Channel Map section check that CH1 is set to CRSF TX and CH2 is set to CRSF RX.

If the above is all fine then test that Nano RX on a different FC, or try a different (known working) Nano RX on that GEPRC Stable F411 FC.

Thank you very much for quick answer,
and yes, I have run crossfire script ang TBS Agent X, and Output 1 is set to CRSF Tx and Output 2 is set to CRSF Rx,
when Rx and Tx are binded- both have green light on.
I try different Nano Rx
Thanks

Hi guys,

Having the same problem after updating my Flywoo Explorer to Betaflight 4.2. Everything worked good before, so it couldn't be the wiring. I checked the following things:
- The ports are correct with Serial RX on the correct UART.
- In the configuration at Receiver: serial based receiver & CRSF
- In the configuration at other features: Telemetry On.
- Tried to update the transmitter, but it's the latest version. When going to BIND mode, it does not ask the receiver to be updated.

Anything else I can check?

Did you flash the correct BF target?

What flight controller are you using? Can you post the output of a CLI dump?

I flashed the target "FLYWOOF411", same as it was before.

Here is the dump before the update:

And how it is now:

Thx for your help!

If the wiring and Betaflight setup is correct then try doing the Crossfire emergency firmware update on the receiver and binding again: https://team-blacksheep.freshdesk.com/su...won-t-bind

After you flashed, did you apply the custom defaults Betaflight will prompt first time after flashing?

@kafie1980
Thx for the tip, but just tried resetting the receiver with this method and it didn't fix the problem. After the reset, I bind again and could continue with updating the receiver. After the update, I had signal again with the transmitter, but still no input in betaflight.

Yep, I did apply the custom BetaFlight defaults after flashing the firmware..

@V-22:

Here you go, hope you can find anything:
