My experience with crossfire is that I need to play around with right versions and also upgrade RX first, but now I'm stuck. Any ideas why both drones don't show up in TBS Agent? I did an upgrade of the agent as I was asked about it after opening it up today for the first time in two months, running 3.0.17 version now. I don't see a way to downgrade it. • Posts: 21,397 Threads: 593 Likes Received: 9,029 in 6,683 posts Likes Given: 1,428 Joined: Jun 2018 Reputation: 795 I'm running the latest 3.0.17 version of TBS Agent X with no issues. The first question is, does TBS Agent X "see" your Micro TX when you plug it into your computer, and if yes, have you updated your Crossfire Micro TX to the latest version of firmware (currently 4.11)? And do you see a green LED on your Crossfire Nano RX when your transmitter is switched on? • Posts: 9 Threads: 3 Likes Received: 0 in 0 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Apr 2021 Reputation: 0 16-Apr-2021, 06:43 PM (This post was last modified: 16-Apr-2021, 06:50 PM by majcyy.) TBS Agent X does see my Micro TX, I already tried 3 different versions of Micro TX firmware: 5.02, 5.07 and the latest one The Crossfire Nano RX is red after powering the drone, in case of both of the drones, and after pressing the bind button it's flashing green. I never managed to bind it so there's no green continuous light on it Edit: I tried different laptop, same story Nano RX does not show in TBS Agent • Posts: 21,397 Threads: 593 Likes Received: 9,029 in 6,683 posts Likes Given: 1,428 Joined: Jun 2018 Reputation: 795 OK, so now I'm confused. Where are you seeing firmware versions 5.02 and 5.07 in TBS Agent X? I have a Crossfire Micro TX V1 and also a Crossfire Micro TX V2 and the latest available version (with beta releases option switched on) for both is 4.11 You do definitely have a Crossfire TX module in your transmitter don't you and not a Tracer TX module? Can you please post a screenshot of the firmware page of TBS Agent X with it connected to your module. • Posts: 9 Threads: 3 Likes Received: 0 in 0 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Apr 2021 Reputation: 0 16-Apr-2021, 06:56 PM (This post was last modified: 16-Apr-2021, 06:57 PM by majcyy.) Correct it's Tracer Nano TX, sorry I used to use Tango 2 and Taranis X-lite S with this J-bay thing just arrived today, is it not the right piece of hardware? • Posts: 21,397 Threads: 593 Likes Received: 9,029 in 6,683 posts Likes Given: 1,428 Joined: Jun 2018 Reputation: 795 (16-Apr-2021, 06:56 PM)majcyy Wrote: Correct it's Tracer Nano TX, sorry I used to use Tango 2 and Taranis X-lite S with this J-bay thing just arrived today, is it not the right piece of hardware? Yes it's fine. You mentioned in post #3 that you are trying to bind to a Crossfire Nano RX in the quad. You can't bind a Tracer TX module to a Crossfire RX receiver. You need Tracer Nano RX receivers. Which receivers are in your quads? Crossfire receivers (black) or Tracer receivers (white)? • Posts: 9 Threads: 3 Likes Received: 0 in 0 posts Likes Given: 0 Joined: Apr 2021 Reputation: 0 (16-Apr-2021, 07:05 PM)SnowLeopardFPV Wrote: Yes it's fine. Are my issues with RX not popping in TBS Agent X related to that compatibility problem? • Posts: 21,397 Threads: 593 Likes Received: 9,029 in 6,683 posts Likes Given: 1,428 Joined: Jun 2018 Reputation: 795 (16-Apr-2021, 07:34 PM)majcyy Wrote: yep I just realised that TBS has different protocol, I thought its one and same thing when I was ordering, I have Crossfire in my quads so I need to return that module and get the one for crossfire. You can't currently do that because you are unable to bind your Tracer Micro TX module to the Crossfire Nano RX receivers. Once you have a Crossfire Micro TX module and have bound it to a Crossfire Micro TX receiver in your quad, the RX will then appear in TBS Agent X when you connect the Crossfire Micro TX to your computer (and the Crossfire Nano RX is powered on as well, obviously). I'm still in this problem since two week so my first quad won't fly yet ? • |
