Cheap FC's with ArteryTek AT32F435 MCU's (not STM32)
Good to hear most issues are being fixed. I guess I can now read through this thread and get my smaller AIO running proper. Too many vibrations. Every time I fly it I stop to tighten every screw that's how bad the shakes are. It's been a while since I tackled it, but until I get the 35A fixed and running properly, I won't be using the other 2 AIOs from them. I wish I had more time, and aptitude for this. You guys are really invaluable, and I mean that.

I found this on their esc configurator site https://hf32.neutron-rc.com/
https://hf32free.neutron-rc.com/HF32upgrading.pdf
seems to be a new firmware version.
anyone tried?

Yes. Don’t use it. Use the AM32 v2.01 that Alkamotors posted a page or two back.

Edit- here:

Dangerous operations.

Did you manage to make it fly decent? I want to build a cinewhoop with 3-6S 45A AM32 V1.2, but I am not so sure after reading the last posts from this thread Big Grin These days it ain't easy to pick up the right parts for a build. I bought a Crossf4 tinywhoop board, and the gyro supposed to be the better new one - BMI270. And no matter what I try, it flies... not great. It could be my mistake, of course Smile) I won't give up, I like fixing stuff.

You should be just fine with the v1.2 version of the board, I think we’ve worked all the kinks out. Make sure you use the am32 v2.01 firmware for the esc’s. I’ve finally got my v1 35a aio tuned and flying beautifully.

The main issue with these boards was the esc side. Between the work Alkamotors did on the am32 firmware, and the manufacturer listening to feedback and tweaking things on their end, I’m now comfortable recommending the 35a aio.

The only real remaining issue is the lack of support in an official betaflight release. It will be supported in betaflight v4.5, and I’m happily using a nightly build of bf4.5, but, there is a risk to using beta/non-official releases of betaflight.

Well I received the 2S AIO today!

Original advertised as 1-2S, seems to be just 2S now.  Sad

Comes with what you see below.

Build quality of the pcb is very good, SMDs are all aligned.  That elrs antenna will be swapped out of course!  I don't know what the JST harness is for though.  Possibly a O3/vista/full size WS TX.  Will have to check the pinouts.   Hopefully will get some time this week to do a CLI dump, etc and put it into a build!

They must still be having problems with 1S.  As mstc posted earlier in this thread in regards to the funny and inconsistent testing numbers for different sized motors there must be some silly arse voodoo going on.  I know Wei Guo said there was noise/consistency issues running these AIOs at 1S.

Really looking at a cheaper alternative to the tmotor 1s bl32 AIO which is now over $100AUD on aliexpress. Poop

Nice! I’m looking forward to hearing about your experience with it.

I’m real tempted by it, but, I didn’t want to be a guinea pig again. Wink

Yeah I hear ya man. Hopefullly lessons learnt from earlier drive a smoother adoption for this AIO.

Well the 2S aio has the newer 2.01 AM32 firmware on it which is a good start.  Also still ships with AT4.3.2 version of BF.  I'll leave it with that for now.

I'm putting it into a 2" build based on the nanofly20 frame from sub250.   Using 1102 18000kV motors.

Question for those who have the v1.2 35a board.

Are the screw mounts for m3 screws ? (i run m2 on the drone I'm planning to buy this for and just wanted to check before going for it)

tks

M3 size holes, gummies reduce it to m2.

For 3S, I didn't notice any yaw twitch/drift. So far this firmware seems to work the best for my setup. I didn't try the new AM32 v2.01 targets, I was not sure which one to flash as there are 4 different AT32/F421 targets?

I did drop the master multiplier and the drone is now flyable on 4S. It seems to be flying ok, but the thought of being on 0.5 filter and 0.7 master multiplier is a little disturbing. I didn't have time to try, but guess I can bring down filters and bring back up PIDS somewhat. It flies stable and response is ok, feels a little slow to respond but I think that is more to do with the heavier setup than I am used to flying.

Hello. I'm using AIO v1 3-5S 35A AM32 V1. Frame AOS 3.5, TMOTOR 1604 3800KV, BF 4.5.0. In the default settings, the quadcopter instantly hit the ceiling of the room when gas was applied :-) And this happened twice :-) I contacted the seller NeutronRC on Aliexpress, he kindly and very quickly sent me the settings with which the quadcopter flies, these are the settings, the rest default BF 4.5.0:
set gyro_hardware_lpf = OPTION_2
set gyro_lpf2_type = PT3
set gyro_lpf2_static_hz = 150
set pid_process_denom = 1
set simplified_gyro_filter = OFF
# OPTION BEGIN (UNCHECKED): BMI270 Clean build with RPM filters DSHOT300
set gyro_lpf1_static_hz = 0
set gyro_lpf2_type = PT2
set gyro_lpf2_static_hz = 135
set dyn_notch_count = 1
set dyn_notch_q = 500
set gyro_lpf1_dyn_min_hz = 0
set gyro_lpf1_dyn_max_hz = 0
set dshot_bidir = ON
set motor_pwm_protocol = DSHOT300
# OPTION END

But it's not ideal, I experience some in-flight shudder when I apply throttle.
Can you send pictures of your settings at which your quadcopter flies well?

P.S.
Now before testing the quadcopter, I tie it to a wooden cross made of thin slats. The ends of the slats are tied with thin ropes to the corners of the bed. It looks like a crucifix, but saves paint on my ceiling :-) The quadcopter tied to the cross and to the bed can no longer freely soar too high :-)

That sounds like the same issues I had, I guess these ESCs don't like the T-motors. Which ESC firmware are you on? I have since flashed to AM2.01 and this seems to have improved the vibrations/twitching even further.
If I recall correctly I have moved the MM back up to 0.9 and the filter slider is 0.8, but I am still on original ATBF, I did not try the 4.5 nightly. I don't notice any vibrations in FPV view, but the motors do sound like there is some very minor high frequency oscillation, it does not have the same purring roar when I was on HF firmware, or just maybe the motors are run in.

I may fly this build some more over the weekend, I will double-check the BF settings then (I have to remove the camera to get to the USB port, bad setup on my part).

I tried this yesterday. I'd like to say it's worth a try.
