Cheap FC's with ArteryTek AT32F435 MCU's (not STM32)
Good to hear ! It should still work fine on 2s/3s too but no guarantees about 2s startup on some motors. I'll do some more testing today too and add it to the releases if it's all good.

So it lacks raw throttle power when you overcook something and need to apply a bit more throttle, as shown by your ground taps?

Apart from that those flights looked ok.

My 3inch with 1404 4800kv motors work really good on 3s. Im using your AM32 test FW, BF 4.5 nightly and the supafly 3inch preset. Let me know if you need any black box or other data.

lol, prolly just me adjusting to a heavy quad. The props are the newer cyclones with a low pitch. I will swap them out for something with a higher pitch once I've got the tune perfect.

Have you tried the UAV presets as well? I must try the superfly one. Is that updated for 4.5?

I tried both UAV and Supafly, none was updated for 4.5, I used the 4.4 one. I got some errors, but they where for angle mode and I only fly ACRO on my freestyle rigs, so I applied the config.
For my rig the Supafly works better, It feels really locked in.

The new versions for the Neutron F421 and the upcoming MINIAIO are here. If there are any issues let me know on the am32 discord.

I tried the HF firmware @kikoqiu posted (reads as AM32 v3.5) and it reduced the 4S vibes quite a bit, but it was still there for a narrow throttle band. For 3S, I didn't notice any yaw twitch/drift. So far this firmware seems to work the best for my setup. I didn't try the new AM32 v2.01 targets, I was not sure which one to flash as there are 4 different AT32/F421 targets?

I did drop the master multiplier and the drone is now flyable on 4S. It seems to be flying ok, but the thought of being on 0.5 filter and 0.7 master multiplier is a little disturbing. I didn't have time to try, but guess I can bring down filters and bring back up PIDS somewhat. It flies stable and response is ok, feels a little slow to respond but I think that is more to do with the heavier setup than I am used to flying.

That's awesome thank you!

Which one is which though? Smile I'm thinking for the AIO we have been discussing in this thread it is "AM32_NEUTRON_F4AIO_F421_2.01.hex"?

My test build is heavy too, 192g AUW with 4s 450mAh.

BF4.5 nightly with the official AM32 neurtonrc testcode posted by Alka.
3.2K pidloop, DSHOT600, idle CPU 15%.

Using the aggressively pitched avan mini 3" props I've almost got a tune down.  I started with the supafly 3" preset and worked my way to this:

NeutronRC just released their 1s to 2s AT32F435 12A aio.

Combined with the am32 firmware Alkamotors worked on, it could be promising.

Yes exactly. Its nice they put up a motor compatibility chart, but its odd that it won't work with 1002 motors?!?  Huh

Nice motor pads for easy soldering (if you prefer that), but not sure why they paired it with a downward facing USB (which I associate with whoop frames and usually plugged motors). I guess some carbon frames have cutouts for the USB and if you want to break it off, they provide USB pads for soldering.

There is also the Betaflight AT 1-2S ELRS (HD only) board for the same price, but I don't know mine has really inconsistent connection (sometimes ESC disappears, sometimes MCU doesn't showup, othertimes everything seems fine?!?).

Yes, the 2-6 is the F4AIO.  The 1-2s with inbuilt elrs is the MINIAIO. These are actually very important not to mix up in this particular case. Normally a wrong target will just not spin properly but the miniAIO has its outputs inverted. Mixing up these would be terrible. I can label them more clearly. Like 1-2S_MINI and 2-6S_AIO?

I think it would be clearer to name them like that, yes please! I'll flash this version today and test. Currently I'm running 4S but my test rig is (electrically) setup for 6S as well so I will test that soon too.
