Hi all
I was initially going to just get a banggood clone as a starter frame purely as it was cheap to crash and break (while I build something better), but FlickeryVision and Snowleopard convinced me to rather get a cheaper non-copy. So, I just wanted to run a few thoughts past you and get any ideas. I started a new post as the previous's title wouldn't represent this.
I'm going DJI air unit so am looking for a frame that has a decent way of incorporating. The others suggested a Source One as it's dirt cheap and you can fit a DJI in. The cost of that frame with the 3D printed parts to allow a nice fit of air unit would result in a cost around £35. I started looking around in that price range (+- £10) and saw there are a few frames in that range specifiacally for DJI with more space than the Source One. So I started wondering if those would be a better choice and would only cost me a couple bucks more. I narrowed it down to the below and would welcome any experience with them and knowledge of getting spares, etc.
Source One with DJI 3D printed parts - Cheap as chips but a very tight fit.
iFlight DC5 HD Freestyle Frame - Looks good but dead cat style so would need multiple arms as spares with me.
GEPRC MARK4 HD5 DJI FPV - Cable between camera and air unit quite tight but comes with crossfire antenna mount which is handy
I also considered others (e.g. NewBeeDrone, Transtec, ImpulseRC, Flywoo, Flightclub, Armattan) but they were either too expensive for now, I couldn't fine easy spares/UK-seller or didn't connect/look the way I envisioned.
Thanks for any advise.
Alan
