Is it easily posible to switch out a 2.4GHz cam  for a 5.8GHz cam without switching out circuit boards on a RTF drone?

 I'm not to electricly inclined but I can follow instructions well. so If and when I'm ready to do a build , I can put the parts in the right place . Maby not sure how they work but happy they do lol.

I would imagine you would need to replace the whole fpv system, I’m not familiar with a camera itself defined as either unless the vtx is attached. At the very least you will need a new vtx and antenna to operate on the new frequency.

What quad are you referring to?

Just a little cheap one I started on. anyway It dosen't matter now . I was flying it the other night and it got in the wind out of range and turned into a kite and flew away lol.

I just got my Eachine 220s upgraded version with Flysky receiver.
and I picked up a slightly used bugs 6.
I tell you Acro is hard Los. but it's crazy in fpv. I'm working on hovering and keeping football uprights lined up lol. ya I have a long road ahead. it's a good thing I'm a bit tenacious, like my pitbull with a bone.
anyway looking forward to the future in this sport.

Bugs 6 is a good learning platform, it's where I started in FPV and the lights help with LOS orientation. I still can't fly LOS in acro so I always use horizon but I very rarely fly LOS unless I'm testing something or just showing someone my quads.  FPV is just worlds better.  Have fun and stick with it.

Ya it has self leveling on the bugs 6. I;m just getting set up for the simulator got a cupple down loaded in Steam. but I only have 4Gig of ram so it won't play them to well. I just ordered 16 gig should be in on tuesday. I have just recieved an Eachine 220s full carbon kit and am starting out just hovering 3 to 5 inches of the ground in acro. It's a preaty steep learning curve right off the hop. Does it start to level out lets say after you get hovering and side to side back and forth down? I feel I'm a ways from that too. I could do it with the bugs 6 but when it comes to acro  with the wizard, and the power of the it feels like i;m jugling it on marbles Lol.
 I hope that I catch on to this fast I want to fly around a bit . But perserverance pays off lol.
