Hey just got a caddx ratel low light camera.. just install it on new build using lum. F7 fc.. I can turn off vtx and see osd in goggles. Also hook a foxeer camera and get osd with picture but when I use caddx I only get the picture.. any ideas what is problem and how I can sort it out..

You should not see anything with vtx off.

You are right. I think I was switching to camera 2 and then I would get black screen with osd info on it because no camera was on that pad. It is for sure something to do with the camera because osd works fine with a different camera. Do you have any idea what would cause the caddx not to show osd. And how I can fix it?

Is the OSD from the camera or the FC from the camera that works properly?

Maybe check that the video setting in the osd config is pal or ntsc and not auto? Sometimes caddx cams need everything in the video “chain” to be set to either pal or ntsc just not auto. I would also check the caddx osd meny for a ntsc/pal setting.

I’ve seen a few posts here where osd works but not camera and it was solved by forcing the video setting to either pal or ntsc and not auto.

try „update font“ in the osd tab
