BLHeli Min & Max Throttle
#1
Do you guys adjust the min and max throttle in BLHeli to 1000 - 2000?

[Image: check-blheli32-esc-blhelisuite32-configurator.jpg]

I just notice I always leave mine at the default 1040-1960.  I'd presume widening that range just offers more resolution.  But am I overlooking anything?

As an aside, I do make sure to adjust my radio's endpoints so they coincide as close as possible to 1000-2000 with 1050 at the midpoint in Betaflight's Receiver page.

Min and max throttle are ignore when you use dshot. It only get use when you use an analog esc protocol.

I just wanted to add, if you want the max resolution if you plan to use an analog esc protocol, you just need to calibrate the ESC. The ESC will remember the values. That will give you the highest resolution.

Thanks for the clarification voodoo. It occurred to me while watching a UAV Tech video on whoop tuning and he suggested setting the ranges in BLHeli Configurator from 1000-2000. I wonder why he would suggest that since I don't think even whoop AIO's use analog ESC protocols?

Ugh ... I remember those ESC calibrations with SimonK ESCs. No gracias lol.

Not sure why UAV Tech suggested that. I remember JB also like the 1000-2000 even though he admits it does matter on one of his video. Maybe it is an esthetics thing. Some people just don't like seeing odd values. 1000-2000 is more pleasing.
