Better radio than T16? The Radiomaster TX16S
#1
So far, purely based on the specs we've seen, the TX16S is clearly a better radio than the T16, and it's cheaper!

I know a lot of people just bought the T16, and probably not very happy with the news. But the T16 is still a really good radio, the improvements on the TX16S are just small tweaks and not enough to make the T16 obsolete.

If you want to learn more about the TX16S, check out my review (well, overview for now):

I wish this was out 2 weeks ago before I got the t16. I got it off amazon so I can probably still return it.

I know it is silly, but I'm still holding out on Futaba or Spektrum coming out with a quality radio that does Open TX and CRSF compatible.  They could so do it and given the quality of their radios vs the Chinese versions is hugely better.  But I also know my dream likely will never come to be....so here I am, happy with my X9D plus.... Sad

I have an original Jumper T16 (yeah, I am still running Jumper TX) and love it Heart . I have not upgraded anything. Before I would spend the money on upgrades, I would seriously consider the RadioMaster TX16S. Or...if I need a replacement or a second transmitter, the RadioMaster is at the top of my list of options Thinking .  So far, everything that I have seen on this radio is all good, especially for the money.  Thumbs Up

Reviewing coming tomorrow.

Are you going to beat JB again?

JB got his T18 already (before the weekend), but there will be no review for about a week because he wants to do some range testing with it. So Oscar has plenty of time Big Grin

Ah, the radio transmitter wars. Nice... Jumper T18, RadioMaster TX16S...and at affordable prices. Far Out! Cool

Personally, I am looking forward to both reviews. Not that I need a radio transmitter, but you just never know. If I had two... Huh ... what would I do... at some point, I will either need an R9 radio or some place to park my R9 Module (but for now, don't want to pull the multi-module from my Jumper T16 and have to switch...maybe) Dodgy

I think Radiomaster is the best price/performance radio in the market. I don't think Jumper T18 is a big thread for Radiomaster. They made a good job. I really recommend it to anyone who is looking for a new transmitter.

Everything that I have seen indicates that it is a quality transmitter. Hope you get it soon. Check it out and let us know what you think.
