BetaFPV ELRS Betaflight Passthrough Error
#1
Hi Folks,

I'm having a bunch of trouble trying to get ELRS set up via Betaflight passthrough. The error I'm consistently getting is:
Code:
Flash error
/Users/bobafett/.platformio/packages/framework-arduinoespressif8266/cores/esp8266/mmu_iram.cpp:26:34: note: '#pragma message: ICACHE size 16K'
  26 | #pragma message("ICACHE size 16K")

*** [upload] Error 2

BETAFPV_2400_RX_via_BetaflightPassthrough  FAILED    00:01:05.561
==================== 1 failed, 0 succeeded in 00:01:05.561 ====================

I was able to get the ELRS RX module flashed via WiFi, but it failed to communicate with Betaflight.

I've already posted about this on Reddit, the folks there have helped me to verify that my wiring is correct (rxrx->fctx/rxtx->fcrx). The RX and TX modules are connected with my bind phrase, and the TX alerts me when powering off if the RX is still connected. (these were bound when rx was flashed with wifi) Any troubleshooting advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

What is the LED on the receiver doing when it is powered on?

Can you show a picture of the ELRS LUA with everything powered up, and also the "passthrough init" section of the log where the flash fails?

Thank you for your response! As I was looking into the LUA script to get that information, I noticed that after a few seconds the header section was flashing "model mismatch". I searched around and found this page: ELRS Model Matching Documentation, which indicated that you can set the model number for the receiver via its wifi service. I think I might have changed this at some point while exploring the page that the receiver hosts Doh  I set this to "00", ensured that this matched what I had in the model settings in OpenTX, and suddenly everything was working! It looks like I probably won't need to worry about the Betaflight passthrough at this point since I was able to get this going through the wifi setup. Thanks again  Big Grin
