Battery question
#1
I have an iFlight Chimera 5 HD and I will fly it with a gopro 8 on it. What would be the best battery to buy if I want better range on it?
I would really prefer Li po and not Li-ion, but I would appreciate any help around the batteries with it.
Thank you!

why lipo and not li-ion? they're much lighter so you'll automatically extend your range.. don't know your draw and flying style, but the new Molicel P45B can deliver 180-200A on a single pack. 4s 4.5Ah @ 320g. that can get you quite somewhere.

Thanks for the help!
I never used li-ion before for it, how do I convert the li-ion into xt60? As of flying style I pretty much just want to cruise slowly, no flips or nothing flashy.

range is directly proportional to the amount of throttle discipline you have. If you're looking for long range without watching amp draw, then you really only have LARGE lipos to utilize. If you want to callibrate your amp meter and monitor your output, an LiIon is a great tool to use...
