I've never ordered from either before. Quick googling shows some sporadic issues with Helipal. Wanted to see what others opinions were here before I pulled the trigger. Shipping to California, USA. • Posts: 3,533 Threads: 265 Likes Received: 2,610 in 1,545 posts Likes Given: 3,893 Joined: Feb 2018 Reputation: 78 I've ordered from Banggood 3 times and only once was trouble free. I've ordered from Helipal numerous times and never had a problem. I will likely order from them now because of your feedback. • Posts: 3,533 Threads: 265 Likes Received: 2,610 in 1,545 posts Likes Given: 3,893 Joined: Feb 2018 Reputation: 78 (06-Jul-2019, 09:54 PM)the.ronin Wrote: Thank you for the feedback! They never were excessively long with shipping, usually in the 7-10 range. They weren't my favorite store, but sometimes they had really good deals. I haven't ordered from them in a couple years. But I haven't flown my helis since getting into FPV either. I definitely don'trust Banggood. I live in the USA. Not sure about Helipal never used them • Posts: 4,731 Threads: 392 Likes Received: 3,231 in 1,827 posts Likes Given: 3,214 Joined: Apr 2019 Reputation: 101 Ok ... so now my order seems to be stuck in "packing" lol. Man these Chinese can come up with new tech like nobody's business but they can't figure out simple freegin shipping its ridiculous. • Posts: 4,731 Threads: 392 Likes Received: 3,231 in 1,827 posts Likes Given: 3,214 Joined: Apr 2019 Reputation: 101 09-Jul-2019, 04:53 AM (This post was last modified: 09-Jul-2019, 04:54 AM by the.ronin.) Yup, so I had a bad gut feeling with Helipal and they were not responding to my emails so I opened a Paypal case. Low and behold, I get a response within minutes from them. The item is NOT in stock (nevermind their own FAQ saying everything listed is in stock ... in bold font LOL). So I'm asking for a full refunds. I'm already going to assume they will sit on this refund for as long as they can. I'd say watch out for Helipal but I'm just going to assume Banggood is the same level of douchebaggery. Yay for Chinese vendors lol lame. • Posts: 6,132 Threads: 172 Likes Received: 2,293 in 1,840 posts Likes Given: 4,743 Joined: Feb 2019 Reputation: 103 i dont now helipal, but bangood hase a huge range of choices and are up to date with the choices. the support does response fast, faster than the stores in europe or states, the support is very professional, but probably this isnt allways the same. dont say lame before give them a try, do a real experience... there isnt true a way around banggood, they are a mighty player in the fpv market. • Posts: 21,397 Threads: 593 Likes Received: 9,029 in 6,683 posts Likes Given: 1,428 Joined: Jun 2018 Reputation: 795 If you use Banggood, just make sure you check the "processing time" against an item. Unless discontinued or a really long restocking time, everything shows as being is stock. The giveaway is what is written next to "processing time". Anything more than 24 hours essentially means the item is out of stock and that is the estimated time when they expect new stock to arrive, but not guaranteed. Something I ordered on 25th May is STILL stuck at the order "processing" stage and is currently showing 13 days processing time, but it's been stuck on that same number for a good couple of weeks. I should probably just cut my losses, cancel the order and request a refund. https://intofpv.com/t-another-banggood-f...-backorder Posts: 4,731 Threads: 392 Likes Received: 3,231 in 1,827 posts Likes Given: 3,214 Joined: Apr 2019 Reputation: 101 09-Jul-2019, 05:15 PM (This post was last modified: 09-Jul-2019, 05:15 PM by the.ronin.) • Posts: 3,533 Threads: 265 Likes Received: 2,610 in 1,545 posts Likes Given: 3,893 Joined: Feb 2018 Reputation: 78 Did you get your stuff from Helipal? • Posts: 4,731 Threads: 392 Likes Received: 3,231 in 1,827 posts Likes Given: 3,214 Joined: Apr 2019 Reputation: 101 Oh shoot sorry for the super late reply on this guys! If I recall, I ended up cancelling on Helipal because when I contacted them to check on my order, they said it was out of stock but would be in stock in a few days. So I ordered from Banggood after confirming with them that it was in stock. I got tracking information the next day and the package arrived on time (paid extra for expedited shipping). With that said, I don't think I would discourage anyone from buying from Helipal. They responded very quickly, were honest (I guess), and acted quickly to cancel my order. On the other hand, when I did receive the package from Bangood, the box itself was slightly crammed in some areas enough to make me take photos for insurance. While the drone was perfectly fine, they sent a different model than advertised. I did not complain because it was a newer model but was mildly annoyed because the parts I had purchased for it became unusable with the changes they made. I did just buy a small part on Aliexpress which I think is the uber sketch of Chinese online shops so let's see what happens lol. • Posts: 21,397 Threads: 593 Likes Received: 9,029 in 6,683 posts Likes Given: 1,428 Joined: Jun 2018 Reputation: 795 (05-Oct-2019, 03:46 AM)the.ronin Wrote: I did just buy a small part on Aliexpress which I think is the uber sketch of Chinese online shops so let's see what happens lol. LOL. If people get upset with the waiting time for Banggood stuff to arrive then AliExpress is on a whole different level. Some of the stuff I ordered from there in the past has taken 2 months to arrive. Most of the stuff usually arrives in 4-6 weeks. I do order some things from there if I want to pay rock bottom prices and I don't mind if what I'm buying is obsolete by the time it actually arrives • Posts: 4,731 Threads: 392 Likes Received: 3,231 in 1,827 posts Likes Given: 3,214 Joined: Apr 2019 Reputation: 101 Yea it was desperate times lol. In this case even the manufacturer of the part in China had run out of stock. I went in expecting to be lucky if the thing even shipped at all. I used a credit card that has always been super quick to cancel transactions with a quick phone call. • |
