Be sure to take lots of pics, post the build log, and finally...show the finished product and flight videos.  Smile

I'm particularly curious about that rear arm supports. I'm wondering if that along with the unibody design is serving to mitigate the thinner thickness of the arms. Very excited for you lol!

Transformer frame arrived in the mail yesterday--I am pleased.  At first glance even thought the plastic, the bottom plate/arms looked thicker than I expected.  I unpacked and measured the thickness to be closer to 2.8mm.  Good news. Smile

I'll log and write up this build in a new thread as I get the rest of the parts together.

For those of you that pulled the trigger on this, Airblade UAV just dropped beefier, matte black versions of their Superman motors that would be perfect for this. Too bad they only made them in 9mm motor patterns these would go good on a lightweight Acrobrat too I think.

Hey ronin, bet you could fit the Micro Alien 3" arms (whole or cut off) to that frame.  Wink    Thinking    Big Grin

Yeah, space them arms out a little over half an inch and run the new HQProp 5" T-mount Bi-blade props...now we're talking  Big Grin
...could be a screamer  Cool .

Maybe I will get a set of these motors for the Phantom-X, move the arms out a little, and run those 5" HQProps... Dodgy
Yeah, I already have a couple sets of those 5 inch blades  Big Grin .

Just a heads up this is back in stock guys.

Also I asked the guy to consider making one that takes both 9 and 12mm motor mounts and he said he would incorporate that into the next version. He also said the only changes to this one on sale now is that they added some holes for a insta360 Go or a naked GoPro mount.
