lol, I hear you guys on the hoarding parts thing...

One thing I've noticed since going to digital the amount of parts in the draw has gone down.  All the little things like plugs, lc filters,BECS and camera housing adapters, etc, etc all don't get used anymore for me.  digital killed a lot of that tomfoolery.

Yes, CNHL is my kryptonite. I worked out if you add a bunch of stuff to your cart, login, go to the payment screen, then close the browser, nine times out of ten they send you a discount voucher within 10 hours. Usually it amounts to free shipping. Yet when i add up all the orders I made, it barely comes to much more than £150, so we aren't talking like crazy amounts of money spent. It's the whole falling on the deals when they come up. Like a six pack of 2S 450's for £12, an eight pack of 1S 450's that cost just under £10, etc. The upside is 18 months after i started this hobby i now have enough lipos to give me a a good couple of years of pain free flying on that front. Just wish i'd learned about CNHL early on as I blew probably half of what I spent on CNHL on GNB Lipos last year and only the 660's survived it (the 380's all no longer hold much charge).

I'm the same. I have overflowing boxes of parts and 5 unbuilt or partly built frames. I also have 6 unused DJI Air Units / Vistas brand new in the box that I bought every time one of those damned YouTubers said that DJI were about to discontinue the system (again) and advised people to protect their investment by making sure they bought enough for any future builds while they were still available. Well I blindly took their advice only to find that DJI are still manufacturing Vistas to this day.

Hi Everyone,

Well, I am right there with you on spare parts. I have many, MANY, boxes both plastic
and cardboard of pretty much everything. The "lightest" (ha, ha) area would be FC
boards/stacks. I do have several unfinished builds, however, I will get those finished
when my house building project is done (or slacks off a bit).

On the positive side, I can build and rebuild for quite some time with minimal purchases.

Anyway, it is what it is.  ROFL
