Xing 2207 from Banggood, are they ok?
#1
Hi guys

I purchased 4 Xing X2207 1700kv motors, I installed them on my build and tested on the bench with BLHeli32 Suite. They run and i cannot feel any difference while running.

My question is... when I try to turn them by hand, I can feel slightly difference between each of them. One of them is incredibly smooth while the other three seems to be a little more "clicky" but not all the same. Is it normal to feel slight differences while turning them by hand ?

I'm asking this because on my BNF Nazgul 5, all of the four motors (Xing-E 2207 1800kv) feels smooth like a charm ad I cannot feel any difference.

Thank you in advance!

If they are all the same type and KV of motor I would expect them to feel the same. Maybe take the bell off the smooth feeling one and one of the others to see if there is any obvious difference with the magnets or stator. Maybe you have 3 motors from one batch and one motor from another batch where there has been a slight change in the manufacturing process.

Thank you for your answer, I noticed that after a bit of bench run they feel more similar. is it possible ?
