I need a CLEAR to-do-list to check for a short in my build since I found continuity between the 2 xt60 polarities with the multimeter. 

The quad includes a F405 stack, 4 motors, a caddx vista vtx + camera + antenna, an elrs module, a gps.

Somewhere the positive and negative circuits have gotten crossed. 

Check all of the power connections for all components. 

1) Look VERY closely and make sure that there are NO solder bridges 
between a ground pad and a pad with positive voltage such as pads 
marked 3.3V, 4V5V, 5V, VBATT, 9V. 

2) Check that none of the power leads are crossed. Make sure that
every power connection has the (normally red) positive wires soldered 
to a pad with positive voltage (see above); AND make sure that the 
black ground wires are only connected to a ground (GND) pad. 
Reversing the polarity on ANY component will short the system.


If you still can't find it, then you might add a close-up picture 
of the solder connections to your first post.
