What's The Timing of the FAA Rules?
#1
It certainly feels like we are moving closer and closer to the FAA rules namely the 250g threshold.  But what is your sense of timing?  Are we walking months?  Years?

I heard from a video about 18 months. Of course that’s probably not going to be the end of the discussion. I think we’ve got a lot more problems then drones flying imo.

Shoot that's not that long at all. I'll be honest, I'm looking at sales of 5 inchers (which frankly has never been traditionally very lucrative even before all this FAA circle jerking) and thinking when might be the best time to unload.

only about coming regulations all over the world, not actual regulations, the market changed in the last summer in my area for used stuff, a lot good quads for low price.

For the US, we have until September 15, 2023 if I remember correctly. Manufacturers have until September 15, 2022 before they can't sell any non compliant aircraft.

Thanks 5zero. I wonder what constitutes an "aircraft"? Does it have to be BNF or RTF? I foresee manufacturers not installing a single prop nut so as to qualify as "ready-to-build" lol. This is gonna be a mess.
