What is the capacitance of this ceramic capacitor? Mambaf405 ESC
#1
I wasn't sure if I posted at the right forum, so I'm posting here as well.

Mamba f405 stack MK2, the ESC which is rated 40A.
I am talking about these ceramic :

inside the red square, the right capacitor fell off, I need to know it's capacitance in order to replace it

I asked Diatone and we have 16 emails back and forth, their conclusion was that no customer ever asked them that kind of question and they can't provide the capacitance of this ceramic capacitor, and so I hope that maybe someone here will know the answer

Those pairs of capacitors in each corner are for noise filtering and will all be the same value. Desolder one of the other ones and measure its capacitance. You can only measure capacitance reliably out of circuit, thus the need to desolder it.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that you will actually get away with the missing capacitor if you're using an external low ESR capacitor soldered across the LiPo connections because that will be doing pretty much all of the filtering work.

Thank you for your answer Snow, if only you would have noticed my other thread ><

I had this one missing, and I thought that it had to be my issue, so I got a brand new stack, and had the exact same issue
channel 1 on the ESC is reporting less rpm than the rest, I swapped motors and it isn't related to the motors

The thing is that it's the same issue after swapping hardware, I now understand that it isn't related to the ceramic capacitor because I am always putting low ESR capacitor on my quad.

I am pretty much lost
