Walksnail Avatar Goggles & Quad Combo (Axisflying Cineon Z25)
(21-Dec-2023, 11:36 PM)mstc Wrote: Depending on how you break it and how you fly, there is always the option to remove some pieces and convert a cinewhoop into a ductless or cinelifter setup. Also with the hundreds of cinewhoop style frames available now, they are cheaper than before and you have a lot more options whether you want a lighter/heavier/brighter/fancier/etc. so moving the internals to a new frame is also an option.
And since quadflyer has his new Bambu, he can just print out a new duct/frame as their promo suggests Big Grin

LOL - funny you mention ....

I Rhino'd up some beefier camera mounts for this quad.  When I put the heavier Pro/Night cam on there was terrible jello in daylight.  The stock teal arms are quite flimsy, so we'll see if these yellow ones do any better.  Just need some sunshine now ... Wink

I love that the Bambu suite accepts STEP models as well as the many other 3D formats Big Grin

I wanted a spare frame for any quick repairs that might be needed. If I experience a re-kit-crash, yeah, I would probably change to a different (simpler) type of frame.

I started using Rhino in 1996-1997, when they began sending these postcards out:

Been using it ever since, through 5, maybe 6 (soon), employers Smile V8 just released !

Oh my gosh! I met a real ancient rhinoceros! I started Rhino with version 2.1. This is my favorite CAD. But life forces us to distract ourselves from it. SolidWorks at work, Kompas 3D at home.
