Ur85 calibrating problem
#1
I have recently bought a UR85 (crazybee f4 pro V2 without build in receiver) and a seperate receiver xr602t-a.
After conecting everythng up and setting it up in betaflight i could not arm. I checkd it In betaflight status tab and saw a message calibrating msp.

If i unplug The batery and then connect the usb cable to my drone and laptop, i can calibrate in betaflight and arm, if i plug in The batery while the usb cable is stil pluged in and after that if i remove The usb cable i can arm and fly, but as soon as i unplug the battery and plug The battery again it wont calibrate and also wont arm anymore.

So i have to connect to betaflight with usb and calibrate otherwise i can not arm.

And also when The battery is pluged in and The calibrating is not working, in betaflight the 3D model is acting strange, The yaw is not working when i turn my drone the roll and pitch are working on The model.

Does any one now What The problem is??

The "Calibrating MSP" message usually suggests some kind of hardware fault with the gyro on the FC. If you keep having to re-calibrate the accelerometer than that also ties in with a possible gyro hardware issue.

Go to the Sensors tab in Betaflight Configurator and check to see if the gyro is showing excess noise. See the following video for how to do that...

What scale did you use for the gyro?

For the gyroscope 2000 scale and for the acc 2

If you set the gyro scale to 100 and the accelerometer scale to 0.5, and set both to a 50ms refresh rate, with your quad sitting on a flat surface do you see any movement on the graphs at all or do they both just remain as flat lines?

That looks OK to me. I suggest you try re-flashing the firmware, ensuring that you switch on the "Full chip erase" option and see if that changes anything.

Problem solved, Somthing was wrong with 3s lipo that came with The drone, after plugging a new battery drone works fine.

verry old topic so i hope you are still around.

what does it tell you when the accelerometer sees movement when the quad is completely still? My sensor output for the x axis gives spikes alle the time and the drone is twitching in flight and in the simulation in betaflight when just laying on the table.

kind regards,

Arthur

If it's doing that you unfortunately have a damaged/faulty accelerometer on the FC.
