0 24-Feb-2019, 03:45 AM (This post was last modified: 24-Feb-2019, 03:48 AM by Fredhead.) I have an inductrix Los quad
Tried to upgrade to the 17 kv motors but now it just takes off spinning in a ccw direction
I don't know what to think they are supposed to work with this quad or am I mistaken

388 Brushed motors come in CW and CCW rotate. You probably have the motors incorrectly wired.

0 24-Feb-2019, 07:47 PM (This post was last modified: 24-Feb-2019, 07:56 PM by Fredhead.) Double checked motor rotation and ensured I have props on correctly ( compared it against my inductrix fpv plus ). Problem persists
I have changed frames tried the eachine frame. As it turns out this frame is only a partial match to the FC so I found an inductrix pro frame. But wondering if I may have damaged the FC when I mounted it in the eachine frame (the one mounting post that doesn't fit the FC was pressed against it) possibly killing a gyro?
I dunno just taking guesses at this point.

0 All I need is a FC and the only thing original will be the 25 ¢ canopy

26 Hi Freadhead
I play with brushed whoops.
If you are sure you have motor direction correct and the proper props on ea. then there is one more thing to check.
I recently got some high performance 6x15 motors for one of my whoops and it did funny things as well and would not fly straight. On closer inspection one of the motors was really tight. You can check this quickly by the blow test. Give each motor a good blow and watch the prop spin. It is pretty easy to tell if one is tighter. I was getting ready to return the motors when I saw a forum post on the subject. Many claim it is not at all unusual to get tight motors and they suggest running them in. Hold the quad down and run a couple packs at varied throttle. Duct tape or packing tape works but make sure the props can get air to keep the motors cool.
I did, and mine loosened up and worked fine.
Also, check to make sure the FC is not "flexed" it should have rubber gromments on all 4 corners but only 3 screws holding it down. If the board is under tension the accelerometer will get confused.

388 I believe that the Inductrix runs props out. This is reverse from Betaflight.

0 Well I think the quad is ok .... After checking everything that was suggested and the way it's acting... Which during all of the testing also revealed a twitchy throttle.
It leads me to believe I have a problem with the transmitter. Once I get my new charger in(hopefully tomorrow) I'll be able to charge my fpv plus batteries and test the theory. Thanks again for the input and I'll post an update in a cpl days when I know more.

0 Ok I'm back to being stumped the transmitter does have a stutter in the the throttle but functions properly other wise.
So unless anyone can think of anything else I'm going to assume that I have damaged the fc.
Because really what more is there. Not much to these little guys

0 Thanks folks, finally running again (yes I do feel like an idiot). Although I was correct about which direction motors where turning. I was mistaken about where said motors went..... I've only just stuck my toe into the rc waters... I've got so much to learn. So thanks again I do appreciate the help and patience.
