I have Taranis Q X7 and have this firmware version:

Do I need to update and what are the benefits of the update? I searched for new updates on the FrSky website and I find this version:

UpdateTime: 2019-12-12 
Version: 191212

but no more information is provided so if someone has some more information on the topic it would be great.

although there are more RC versions and nightly builds if you wish


I dont keep up with the benefits of each update but i'm sure a quick search on youtube will have that answer

The latest release version of OpenTX is 2.3.2 as of 16th November 2019. The download links for that version are HERE. There are quite a few changes since 2.2.2. You need to read the incremental release notes against each version below to see what has changed / what you are missing...
