UK Pilots - CAA Rule Exemptions, Except for Multirotor Pilots!
#1
UK pilots might want to watch the video below, and if you're a member of one of the main 4 UK flying associations you might want to voice your opinions to them and ask why multirotor pilots are being put in the "hooligan" bucket while pilots of all other types of RC aircraft are seemingly being given a big pat on the back. And as for the proposal to potentially impose flight plans and give the police new "stop and search" type powers around drone usage, it just makes you wonder who on earth in the government is drafting up these kind of ludicrous proposals.

The 97-page PDF containing the new government proposals can be found HERE.

Other pilots from outside the UK can either sympathise, or just look on in amusement at all of the nonsense going on that is doing it's best to try and kill (or at least paralyse) the RC multirotor hobby in the UK.
