This is a bit short notice but the first race of the ISeries championship is going to be held this bank holiday weekend at the NEC in Birmingham UK.

The Insomnia Gaming Festival has teamed up with the UK Drone Show to bring FPV racing to Europe for the next three years.

Tickets are discounted at £18.50 currently with Saturday being completely sold out.

Confirmed dates for this year (2016) are as follows:
  • 25th-28th August
  • 3rd-4th December
  • 9th-12th December
Prize money looks decent with a pool of £5000 and £2500 going to the overall winner. Prizes will be presented on Monday 29th August at the closing live event.

The website for the event can be found here.

Along with a list of featured pilots here.

Overall the event looks really good but I'm not sure whether I will be able to make it yet.

Quick preview of the track layout.
