Do you have EU-LBT or FCC firmware on the internal ISRM module of your X9 Lite?

The TBS Tiny Whoop will only bind to an FCC transmitter. So you won't be able to bind it to your EU-LBT X9 Lite.

You have two options:-
  1. Install an external Multiprotocol module which will support FCC, then bind using that.
  2. Switch your X9 Lite to use FCC firmware. Be aware that if you do this, any EU-LBT receivers already bound to your X9 Lite will no longer work.

For a Multiprotocol module, the Vantac MPM Lite, iRangeX IRX4 Lite, or the TBS MPM will work with the X9 Lite transmitter.

You can of course get an FrSky XJT Lite module and that will also work when flashed with ACCST FCC firmware, but the Multiprotocol modules are more versatile as they can be bound to virtually any 2.4GHz receiver from any manufacturer (both FCC and EU-LBT) with the exception of FrSky ACCESS receivers.

The choice is yours.

flash your transmitter to fcc, there are only benefits. lbt version is just because of regulations and not because of a pilots need.

probably some work to flash other lbt reciever?

The installed ISRM module firmware contains both EU-LBT and FCC variants. You just need to switch your current EU-LBT firmware over to be FCC. To do that use the procedure at the following link...

OK. I guess we had crossed wires.

FrSky have very considerately removed the pre-2.x.x ACCST firmware for the XJT Lite module from their website, but bffigjam on here has made them available on one of his websites. You can find it at the link below. It's currently the last file at the bottom of the list...
