To Arms!
#1
I need arm measurements lol (see what I did there? ROFL )

If you just so happen to be bored, have a ruler or digital caliper and a drone within arm's reach (damn, I'm on a roll, I know), please consider taking a measurement of the thickness and width at the middle of the arm.  Doesn't have to be precise at all.  I also need to know the prop size that goes with those arms. I kept this in the Mini Quad forum since I'm mostly interested in 3" to 5" quads.

So something like (from an Apex):  5" props, 6mm thick, 12mm wide

For science!! Big Grin   Thanks!!   Thumbs Up

If you do some more dad jokes, I’ll set an alarm/reminder to measure all of my 3”+ frames later today.

Okay, I already set a reminder, but I’d still like some jokes.
Dangerous operations.

im shy to start mesurements, i have a lot unusal frames like ultralight ones... 2,5mm 5inch frames with 5mm wideness xD

for what exactly do you need that mesurements? are you intressted in unusual settup frames? regardless kind of quad unibody/splitarm and purpose spacy freestyle frame, cruiser or leightweight racer/basher?

Just trying to build up a set of data points is all.  I'm coming to appreciate that so much of a frame's performance is informed by the arms.  And hey, even if it is totally unusual, if it works, then it's good data.  Thumbs Up

as example the 5inch 5mm wideness and 2.5mm thikness does work in terms of xD it can fly in one configuration, onnthe limit about okish vibrations for cruising only. on some lightweight motors around 1306 and a lightweight 2s battery on dalprop t5051
