TM 912 RADIO
#1
I purchase this TM912 USB Radio Transmitter because cause the Transmitters that i use to fly real RC models they don't be detecting the stick movements correctly even after calibrating so i decided to purchase the USB Radio Transmitter, now this TM912 USB Radio Transmitter doesn't work with none of the Simulators, XTR G2 FM, G5-G7, VRC or Phoenix RC is there a way to get the TM912 to control these Simulators or is this a ripoff.

What simulator is your QX7 having trouble with? I use mine with FPV Air 2, Liftoff and FPV Freerider without any issues. I did have to modify the throttle to get it to work correctly in Freerider, but the other two have been plug-n-play.

My QX7 is having trouble with all 3 on this disk 3 stick movements would work incorrectly in some case none detected at all and since you state it's plug and play can you prove it with a QX7 Radio or with the TM912 USB Radio do you have a video somewhere that can prove it?

What is that disc exactly with 3 different simulators on? Looks a bit dodgy to me. For starters LiftOff is only available on the Steam platform so no legitimate copy comes on a DVD. Maybe hacked software is the reason why your QX7 doesn't work with it.

I see what you have is HERE but I have no idea what that USB dongle is actually for. You don't need any device for the QX7 to work with simulators. You just plug it directly into a PC with a standard USB cable and set the QX7 to work as a joystick.

Not sure what there is to prove. I plug in my QX7 and after a few seconds, it is available as an input device on my laptop. From there, I set the simulators to use it as the control. I do not have any video of it. I do have my radio connected with a USB cable though, not sure about any dongle.

I can confirm my QX7 is virtually plug and play through direct USB connection, using the XSR-SIM USB Dongle and through the Betaflight HID Joystick Support with both an XSR and R-XSR.
I have used it with DRL, FPV Air 2, Liftoff, FPV Freerider, and I've even used my QX7 to play other games like DCS.
Can you provide any details about your PC? Are you running windows, if so what version?

I have encountered some driver issues in windows 10 mainly with a usb dongle for a FS-i6 much like the one the disc you have came with. I ended up having to manually install the correct driver, this could be your issue. When I had the issue either the controller didn't work at all, or the stick movements were not smooth with only 3 or so positions (I.E Full throttle, Half Throttle, Zero Throttle and nothing in between).

Yeah maybe it's what you say but i was hoping the TM912 USB Radio would work i didn't purchase it to for it to just lay around and get dusty i wanted to use it for Simulators and use the QX7 for real models but i'm gonna try again with the QX7 with out the Dongle and see what happens.

IMO you're better off using the same transmitter on the simulators as you use to fly real quads with because you will get used to the feel of the sticks you will be using in real life from a travel and friction perspective. I would expect the TM912 to have pretty poor and cheap quality stick feel in comparison to the sticks on your QX7.

Only my Turnigy 9XR Pro works with the Phoenix Simulator or Real Flight Simulator through the Dongle but it doesn't work with Liftoff i was able to get the Taranis QX7 to work with Liftoff, no Dongle was used but the Drone is so slow.

I didn't learn how to fly a Drone using a simulator i had learn with a tiny Drone name the CX-10C i like simulators because you can fly a big RC Model indoor or if the weather is bad you can still fly or just experience with different RC Models through a Simulator.

Now my Transmitters are working better now when flying with a simulator the QX7 and the Turnigy 9xr pro thanks to the smartpropoplus software thanks to who ever created that software Liftoff and Real Flight now operates better i hope this help someone else out who is stuck and can't get no action from a simulator because me i don't give up on things easily when i'm trying to fix it.

In Liftoff make sure channel 1-4 weight and offset are down to 50%. Only channel 3 and channel 4 weight are at -50%

I wish Real Flight would of add some fpv drones or some racing drones to their simulator they have all types of planes and Helicopters even the plane that was the first plane to ever be invented, damn and the models look so real in real flight or phoenix RC it's like you're really out side flying.
