Tinygo 4k beep permanent after crash
#1
Hi everyone,
I received my first FPV drone today and I crash it. Short story I touch the button to put in acro mode with my big hand ROFL  Angry . The drone hit the floor on the back.
But now when I connect the batteries I have the standard 3 beep and after that, it beeping without stopping. I can see the motor moving a little. we have 3 led on the back, blue, green, red ;the 3 led's are flashing
I found this post:https://intofpv.com/t-troubleshooting-gep-12a-f4-aio but i am not sure it can help me.
I connect to Betaflight and when I power the drone on betaflight, I can make the motor running.
In the beginning the remote was connected to the drone after I saw on betaflight that the beeping can be a matter of the TX is not connected correctly I try to renew the binding. Now I lost the connexion with the remote and I try the method of binding provide by the constructor without success.

thank you in advance.

To me it sounds like the receiver in the TinyGO is broken or has become disconnected.

Time to take it apart and check all the wiring.  Don't plug any more lipos in until you've checked it.  If you find a wire off a pad, you need to solder it back on.  if the rx was built into the board, you may need to solder a new one on to it on one of the uarts.

So i don't have this quad, but it's the same troubleshooting checklist for most every quad.  No connection between radio and quad after crash, check all the wires are still connected, if they are then replace the rx and see if that fixes it, yes, move on, no, move to next check (broken radio (unlikely but possible, broken uart pad, broken fc and more). Smile

Edit.  Looks like it's a built in ELRS that uses an external antenna.  Check the antenna is still connected to the board.
