absolutely, this is what innovation should be in quadcopters... not changing the KV or stator size of a motor Big Grin LOL

So that kids can better invade their neighbors yards come Christmas morning...no more getting hung up in the trees, their drones will adapt, avoiding obstacles.  Sort of being facetious with my answer, but for about a week after the 25th last year, there were several DJI like craft flying around my area.  I stopped noticing them after the craft were either destroyed in crashes or the pilots figured out how to shut of the LEDS.

I do think it is neat stuff and it would be interesting to see them in use outside of labs.

That is so cool. Gotta find a time and mental energy to read the whole paper about that: http://rpg.ifi.uzh.ch/docs/RAL18_Falanga.pdf I'm pretty sure I won't understand half of it tho Big Grin
