First Look
The REALACC R374 Mini Sky Phantom comes well packaged in a retail style box with a full set of (4) extra props, a USB charging cable and competent instructions. It is very small, compact and lightweight, fitting everything you need to fly right inside the transmitter, and lets admit it, it's quite a cute little quadcopter. Especially if you like UFO's and Little Grey Men.

Overview
With the convenience of storing the quadcopter nicely within the transmitter, you can take it with you wherever you go! The transmitter requires 3 AAA batteries to get you airborne. Charge time is short, less than 30 minutes on a 0.7A USB port. Flight times are nice too, averaging 4.5 up to 5 minutes with gentle flights on the 180mAh 3.7v lipo.

The quiet 3 bladed propellers spin atop its 6mm (0615) brushed motors and are very durable, bending back into shape many times before breaking. I have put over 50 flights so far on these motors as well and they are still performing great. Several of those flights being my kids and other zero experience pilots.

I have really tried to be as rough as I can be with it, looking at things from a beginners point of view. Abusing the stunt/flip button, trying to stress the motors and battery, crashing into walls, the refrigerator repeatedly, and several high drops on linoleum flooring after full throttle smacks into the ceiling. It has held up to my own and others abuse very well, even protecting the props with ease due to its ducted canopy design and allowing for quick recoveries. Unfortunately when I did manage to break a prop, I noticed I had only received 4 CW (clockwise rotation) propellers. In less than 24 hours after I sent the email concerning the spare props, I had received a tracking number for the correct replacements and we identified the supplier issue. Just to emphasize on the great customer service I experienced.
Outdoors, the range performs as advertised. Reaching 30 meters easily. Failsafe is comparable to the better toy grade quads I have flown, holding the last command for only 5-10 seconds before cutting off power instead of flying off forever. However it does not handle the wind very well at all, but from a beginners perspective, it isn't recommended to learn in the wind anyways.
On the inside of things the quality control was a pleasant surprise, even the crystal has a bit of epoxy to hold it from coming loose. Soldering was clean and wires organized neatly.

Conclusion
I highly recommend it!
The REALACC R374 Mini Sky Phantom is great for any brand new aspiring pilots, young and old alike! It is easy to take with you on the go. It has great looks and style in my opinion. And for only $22 USD it's easy on the wallet. I have paid way more for similar toy grade quadcopters that do not perform or stand up to abuse like the Mini Sky Phantom does.

Thanks for reading!
