test components
#1
I'm brand new to this.

I started off by buying an ESC, specifically Aikon AK32 4-in1 35A 6S ESC.  As I'm still doing some research on different components I wanted to see if I can do a quick test to make sure the ESC is actually not DOA.  It came in a paper/plastic package with minimal padding.

Is there a way that we can quickly test the component or any component?

Thanks!

I suppose you could connect a power supply to it and check for proper voltage output, but you really need to have everything connected (motors, flight controller) to properly test them. Welcome to the forum

I see.  Thanks for the quick response! Hope that those components are usually pretty good in quality?

For the most part things come in working order, although there is always that chance of a DOA part.
Aikon is usually very well made. I actually just managed to finally kill one of the Aikon 30A that was one of the first ESCs to use BLHeli S. They were a hand-me-down from Oscar even and worked great. I expect similar performace from the 35A 4 in 1
