TBS UNIFY Pro32
#1
Hello. I have VTX TBS Unify Pro32. Is this normal: no voltage on PIN Smart/Audio and PIN OSD. As I connected the camera, I confused polarization (+) (-) from FC to camer Rucam
* My FC:  FOXEER Mini F722 V4 FPV Flight Controller OSD
I came across this thread. https://intofpv.com/t-tbs-unified-pro-32...lem?page=2
Do not connect any CrossFire RX to VTX. "What does it mean" ?
Power the quad, feed the goggles, make sure you are on the correct band/channel. I have VTX TB connected: Smart Audio => TX5 (FC) Video => VTX (FC

So whats the actual issue when connected to FC? No signal and no video?

Why did you write 9v on the power in pad arrow? If its rated for 5v only, anything you put above that will fry the board, be careful with that.

Btw, something should obviously be transmitting on those channels but have no idea what the correct measure to be used for those. You can connect them up and check if there is continuity with a multimeter.

Btw2,
"I have VTX TB connected: Smart Audio => TX5 (FC) Video => VTX (FC" seems right, just make sure to enable the port on Betaflight as well.

Was just checking the TBS website and the image you posted is not the TBS UNIFY Pro32 but the TBS UNIFY Pro, big difference in them in terms of input voltage and output power. If its like the one in the picture, yours is just the Pro version and that only takes 5v, anything above it will fry it like I mentioned earlier.

I may have fried the VTX board. I have a question . after connecting the power supply 5+, GND, should the LED light up? blue or red? Will the LEDs light up only when the camera is connected?
thx

how to check :
a) damaged vtx on FC?
b) burnt TB VTX module?
maybe one of your friends connected the TB VTX Transmitter (TBS UNIFY PRO32 NANO 5G8 25-500mW)
* Can you connect VTX directly to the camera, bypass the VTX module?
* Does the blue or red diode on the UNIFY PRO32 NANO 5G8 25-500mW TBS Transmitter turn on when 5V power supply is applied, GND. Maybe only after the camera is detected?

Hi Zomer,

To answer a few of your questions:

They both will light up. The red and blue leds show you the channel, band and power output you currently have configured. From the manual: " The TBS UNIFY PRO32 5G8 signals selected channel, band and power levels using a startup sequence of LED codes. The same sequence i s also repeated i n the menu to make i t unified. First the RED L ED flashes to indicate the item being shown. One flash for channel, two flashes for band, three flashes for power level. Subsequently, the BLUE L ED will indicate the value."

If you have soldered the vtx to the fc and the VTX leds light up when you power it up, then it might still be working. The only way to ensure its working is to check that it is transmitting to the band/channel/power you have set it to on Betaflight (always remember to have the antenna connected to the vtx anytime you power it up)

Have you uploaded the vtx table into Betaflight?

The VTX will work and transmit despite having a camera connected to it or not.

This specific vtx does not have camera pads on it so you have to connect the camera on the FC.

Can you show a screenshot of your Betaflight Configuration tab and VTX tab? Also can you take a picture of your drone showing the wiring from FC to VTX?
