Does anyone know how to control the TBS unify pro over the smart audio port via betaflight cli? Because of how my OSD is setup I cannot have it interface with the FC or VTX so I have no way of controlling the unify pro via OSD but I do have a Bluetooth module in my quad that I use to program PIDS via an iPhone app, I'm just curious if there is cli commands to control the unify pro.

If you are using a taranis you can use an LUA script to control the vtx settings through smart audio. I don't currently have an old so thats what I've been doing recently.

Unfortunately I use a Devo 12e tx running deviation firmware. Wish I would've gotten a taranis now since there's so much more community support for them.

I wish betaflight would implement something via either cli or the adjustment tab to control VTXs through smart audio. Haven't been able to find any rumblings of it online either so it may never happen.

Why can't your OSD connect to the flight controller? Where does it get the data to display from without a connection to the flight controller?

There is an Android app that lets you change the VTX settings. The app uses the MSP protocol to query the flight controller for VTX info and instruct it to make changes to the configuration.

There are two iOS apps which can talk to Betaflight via MSP (you'll need a Bluetooth module though because Apple devices won't talk directly to a serial port) if they don't currently have the functionality to configure the VTX via MSP, then maybe you can help the developers to implement it.
