I am interested in buying a TBS Tango 2 pro, but before I want to use it on my drone, I want to use it on a simulator. One problem though, my PC is not strong enough to run any simulators, all I have is an xbox one and a iPad. Has anyone had any success using the Tango 2 on simulators like DRL? or DCL? Thanks.

Yes, you can use an OpenTX transmitter with an Xbox, but you need to spend another $65 on a piece of hardware called the Titan One and then run some custom code on it. See below.

I am exactly in the same situation today ! (but in 2022)
I discovered FPV univers and I fell in love
I played DRL simu on xbox with my xbox controler
Last week I received my drone, RC, goggles V2, LiPos ....
I have all what I need for my first real flight !!!!
But I don't want start it without using my TBS TANGO 2 on my xbox simu, I am too afraid !!
My macbook 2012 is too old for a FPV simu so I don't have others choices that to connect my tango 2 on my XBOX !!!
I spent so many hours to find a solution with good requirements !
@Ditty_FPV is that solution of TITAN 1 adaptor have worked for you ?
I am on xbox series x and I think you were on xbox one in 2020 but would not make any differences ?
@SnowLeopardFPV is that solution still working for a RC "TBS TANGO 2" on XBOX SERIES X ?
Please, could someone help me with that because I am completely stuck and I dream to make my first flight as soon as possible !

You might want to give FPVFreerider a try. It works on older systems and has a Mac version and also a trial version to see how well it works. And if it does work, it's only 5 bucks...
