T-Motor F7 stack - Betaflight Gyro update frequency 3.2kHz ????
#1
My experience is that F7 flight controllers use 8K/8K loops.  Why is the gyro update frequency at 3.2 kHz max and same for gyro???  updated to latest 10.8 configurator and flashed 4.3 release.  I have never seen this before, it should be 8K/8K normally...Any advice would be great?

Can you share a link to that exact stack? What gyro is on it?

The most common Invensense MPU6000 gyro runs at 8kHz.

Bosch BMI gyros run at a max 3.2kHz

The frequency is being restricted to 3.2K by the BMI270 gyro they are using on that FC as kafie already mentioned. The MPU6000 gyro that most manufacturers used to use is now in very short supply / discontinued so FC manufacturers are being forced to switch to using the BMI270 gyro instead. If you run the "status" command in the Betaflight Configurator CLI it will confirm to you what gyro your FC has.
