0 I had to swap an ESC due to it exploding I couldn't get the same one so got one as similar as possible. When I plug the battery in the motors twitch as they should but it only makes half of the startup beep sequence it should and no leds light up on the lux fc. Any ideas? Do I need to reset something in beta flight, not sure if it will even connect as I don't have a computer to hand.
Thank you very much for any ideas.

You will need a computer to do this.

ESCs calibration in betaflight configurator. Or in blheli suite.
I have never ran different ESCs, but I can't see why it wouldn't work. You might have to flash the little bee separately.
You should bought the same esc, they sell the DYS xsm 20a.

72 If you don't get the low/high beeps after the three beep startup tone, then the ESCs are not seeing a throttle signal from the flight controller.
If you don't get any LEDs on the flight controller lighting up then I'd say that the ESC that blew up also took the flight controller with it.
