If I ever get the budget for a second 5" build it will utilize this style frame and the low kv setup I run now. This one in particular seems like I might get there sooner. Thanks for the review Oscar! Sexy build, vinyl looks awesome. ah the days when we had to use paint markers for a custome look • Posts: 3,288 Threads: 129 Likes Received: 2,740 in 1,644 posts Likes Given: 2,969 Joined: Apr 2017 Reputation: 65 OMG, my next frame!!! Nice to see such a great frame made in Britain too! I'm sure he can answer that question. Seems to me there would be enough for almost anything. But what do I know, I have only ever built bottom mount frames always leaving a clean top plate. As long as nothing, component wise, is mounted outside to the upper plate. • Posts: 5,323 Threads: 674 Likes Received: 3,160 in 1,747 posts Likes Given: 2,032 Joined: Jan 2016 Reputation: 139 (04-Jul-2018, 03:24 PM)Banelle Wrote: I've been eyeing this frame for a while, but most of my batteries are those weird shaped 1500mAh Turnigy ones which I think are going to be too long 8cm is the the longest I would use on this frame You can certainly put longer battery on it but you will have a tail heavy quad the other solution is to mount your battery on the bottom which is not ideal IMO • Posts: 1,312 Threads: 50 Likes Received: 832 in 504 posts Likes Given: 372 Joined: Jul 2018 Reputation: 51 Boo. I'm starting to think these batteries are going to be a problem when it comes to frame choice in the future. I bought a load when they were about £12 X-/ • Posts: 2,410 Threads: 136 Likes Received: 1,790 in 1,052 posts Likes Given: 3,302 Joined: Jan 2017 Reputation: 50 (04-Jul-2018, 10:49 PM)Banelle Wrote: Boo.
