Strange behaviour with pit mode switch
#1
I have pit mode set on a switch but also a potentiometer that changes vtx power levels from 1 to 4. 1 is obviously 25mw. I also have low poweruntil first arm.
On powering with the switch set for pit mode initially the vtx power is near zero so.my monitors foot away gets snow. Then after not changing anything for a few seconds the monitor gradually clears and shows vtx power at 25 mw.
Seems pitmode is overridden. Anyone seen this or know how to keep pit mode on?

Latest update..

I decided to have my pit mode switch override the vtx adjustment on channel 9 , aux5.
So I changed vtx settings so the power levels 1 to 4 were set between 1100 and 2000, then the switch overrides the channel back to 1000 at which point pit mode is selected. I also have low power till first arm.
Seems to work in bf ok. In real time though the osd does not now update the current power levels even though the apparent range does change. Before I could check output power on the osd.
Why might this change?
