0 22-Feb-2024, 12:12 PM (This post was last modified: 23-Feb-2024, 05:20 PM by nicetomeetyou.) Hi,
I updated my tango2 with Elrs 3.3.2 (Module: happymodel es24 tx pro)
I installed BF 4.4 on my mobula6 (FC crazy f4 SPI ELRS)
The tango2 connects with another quad (serial ELRS), but I cannot bind it to the mobula 6
I tried to install different ELRS Versions (3.0/3.3) on the ES24 TX with no luck.
It's wierd. When I put the mobula 6 into binding mode (pressing the bind button in BF), and then try to bind it with the TX (press bind in the elrs settings) it reacts and cancels.
I put in the correct binding phrase (in TX and in BF)
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Go to Elrs script on tango2, scroll down and tap bind.
If you get model match error turn model match on, then back off again.
The model match thing is the one thing that keeps tripping me up, it appears to bind but then won’t work, and this is it 9 times out of 10.

100 some spi receivers doesnt offer all elrs mode, as example d500
we had a gamble to figure the mode as bind issue, maybe its the same?

4 I'm glad that worked. I got the idea from a couple other threads where people talked about packet rates.
Also, in another thread somewhere I had complained that elrs transmitters are delivered with a D packet rate as default, which doesn't work for SPI receivers. Since there are A LOT of SPI receivers out there, this creates A LOT of headache when they don't bind. People have to figure out, the hard way, that all they have to do is change their packet rate to a "regular" 250 or 500 to get it to bind. I recently purchased a Pocket transmitter. The first thing I did was change the packet rate to "regular" 250. It now works for both SPI and serial receivers just fine.
