SpeedyBee F7 V3 flight controller
#1
Hi everyone,
I have recently bought a SpeedyBee F7 V3 BL32 50A stack .
I have two questions .

1. As I can see in betaflight , the maximum PID loop frequency is 3.20 Khz . Is this normal ? If yes , why is it so low ? I know older devices that can run at 8 Khz

2. I can not connect the fc with my android phone via bluetooth .I press the bluetooth icon in the app , it tries to connect and it says that can't find any identified device . I tried to pair my phone with the fc , the green led turns on  , the phone tries to pair and after about half a minute it stops trying and the led turns off. The phone is not asking for any action when pairing . It just stops to try.

What am I doing wrong ?

Thanks in advance,

That maximum PID loop frequency is normal when a Bosch BMI270 gyro is used on the FC because that is the maximum frequency of that particular gyro and the PID loop frequency is tied to the gyro frequency. Manufacturers have started using the BMI270 gyros on newer FC's due to the shortage and discontinuation of the MPU6000 gyro that they all used to use.

I don't have one of those FC's but how are you powering the FC when trying to connect via Bluetooth? If you are powering it via USB then try powering it up using a LiPo instead (via the ESC board) with the USB cable disconnected.

I tried that too. Same thing . I'm waiting for a friend to test it on his phone just in case.
Am I going to see lower flight characteristics at that frequency ?

Yeah, I just watched Whirly Bloke's video (HERE) and it shows him powering up the SpeedyBee F7 V3 FC with just a USB power pack and it works. Maybe try doing the same so you don't actually have an active serial connection to your computer, just power going into the USB port of the FC.

EDIT: Believe me, you aren't going to notice lower flight characteristics at that frequency. Faster isn't always noticeable by human reflexes Smile

Thanks for everything
I just solve the problem . It was the gps . You have to turn on the gps on the phone to work. I still don't believe that it was the problem .
One more time , thank you
