SP Racing F4 EVO - No DFU mode...
#1
Hi All!
I have a problem with my SP RACING F4 EVO FC.... and maybe you can help me. [Image: huh.png]

I want to flash my FC with the lastest BF firm... 3 months ago I flashed in DFU mode without any problems, but now suddenly I cant enter DFU mode....

I press the boot button while I put the USB cable. I hear the windows sound and all, but no DFU mode.... only COM1 showing up. Want to say that I always can enter to BF by puting the usb on the FC, I only have problems when try to enter DFU mode.

Had run ZADIG and the ImpulseRC program. It seems that I have the correct driver in STM32 Bootloader device (WINUsb)....I tried again and again and nothing...I also tried to type BL in Cli but the FC hangs.

I am a intermediate pilot and builder and I am an IT professional so I handle well enough with "computer and O.S" things. Never have this problem with the SP F4 before.

I dont understand what the hell is happening.... Does anyone have any clue?

PS: Sorry my English, Greetings from Basque Country.

Long shot, but try typing DFU in your CLI instead of BL

Ty for the answer.

I will try this... but I think the DFU command was replaced for BL command.

I just read in RCGroups that the SP F4 EVO must be powered before you press the BOOT button.... Dont know, but have to try this too.

I am amazed because 3 months ago I flashed to the last BF firm without any problem. Maybe the Win10 April Update has messed everything related to STM drivers, i will try to install them from scratch.

Ty!

Maybe you boot button just went bad.

BL command should work.

I never heard that the FC needs to be powered before pressing the boot button.

Yesterday I have the same problem with a matek f405 ctr and the solution for me was closing betaflight betaflight before pressing the FC button and plugging it to the computer.
Not a very difficult problem but I've tried several times before I realized that betaflight was open already....
