This might be the deal breaker if it's not waterproof out of the box and it needs an extra case, the form factor with the extra case will make it bigger than a Session..

I know if i dump my copter in the sea or river and i get it back the Session will be alive.

Looking good! Judging by this video, personally even find it better than the session...

• more neutral colors (better for post-processing)
  
• more neutral contrast (same)
  
• non-distorted aspect ratio (superview makes me sick tbh)
  

Sound isn't bad either, but it sounds "open" - maybe not so waterproof like the session is said to be?

Looks really nice, have we got a release date? and will it have the voice functions like the session has?

Will I be the first to post that the "superview" feature (lacking in all other action cameras but the GoPro) is a must in this one?

Any info on this?

Personally i prefer not having it. Can't stand earth warping wider and thinner while rolling. And it makes ppl look fat.

But having superview would probably help selling it ... BTW the Yi can mimic superview by rescaling 1600x1200 mode.

You labelled both sides as "GoPro"... If the right side is from the runcam, then ... WOW Must have.

i've been using Runcam 2 for a long time,
if ill have same or better in this box i might be tempted to get one (not yet but soon).

Especially after how i've been treated by runcam when my first RC2 failed... they sent me new one without any issues (which i find as a great support to build the brand) afterwards i've bought swift and others - rock solid.

what cons i see:
- non replaceable battery -> one in runcam 2 lived for 9 months... second is still living, also possiblity to switch it in the field is tempting
- non waterproof (i'd love it to be)
- sd card "almost" outside, i like the doors on the runcam2, never lost a card (i did in mobius)

cons i've seen in Xjet review:
- sd card can fall into the box (don't know have this been resolved)
