Replacement motor(s) 1103 8000k for phantom analog
#1
I blew a motor in my phantom and I’ve been looking for a replacement(s).

Everyone is out of Geprc 1103 8000 so I may get a different brand of similar size but same Kv if possible.

Is there any companies/brands known for better quality micro  motors?

Joshua Bardwell has a very cool spreadsheet with all the different motors, kv, cell count, weight, etc. I'll see if I can find a link...

It's in the video description Smile

I went with iflite 1202 in 8000kv and replaced all 4 motors.
Got them yesterday and put them on last night and they are much smoother than Geprc motors and not as coggy.
Thicker magnets, bigger bearings and feels more floaty and punchy but I’m using tri blades props versus bi blades.
My weight with 500 2S ready to fly is 99grams.

Hi Rob3ddd,

You should get better Fly Time with those motors compared to the 1103's.
I haven't used iFlight motors yet, but it is good to know that they are smooth, better than GEPRC.
