RacerStar BR2306S-2700kv motors -
#1
Just got an order of them.  Not sure how they will compare to the 2205 motors on the 5", but looking forward to finding out!  Looks like some soldering on a lazy Saturday.  Not like the 5" is slow with what it has.

Thought about installing them onto the 7", but that is getting bigger motors later.  Guess I will know soon enough! Big Grin

I am not sure if 2700 kv motor is a good idea for 7". I wonder if there is enough torque to move such a big prop.

They went on the 5" and I will be getting 2407 or 2507 motors of the 7", between 1500kv and 1800kv.

Ok, so it looks like I am going to have to relearn a few things. These motors take way less throttle to respond and it has actually caused a few crashes. I have been flying the 2205's for a while and got used to them "sliding out" around stuff. These, they just grab and pull...which is the accidents. All are cutting curves around things too tight. Might play with the throttle curve a bit to get the bottom end sort of smoothed out.
