POP sound when increasing throttle

Hi Snow,

I guess I will never forget it is glue. BTW, that gives me some relief because i couldn’t find anything else obviously wrong.

I also checked the magnet separation and shape in my motors. I couldn’t see anything wrong there.

Thank you so much and let me know if you have any other ideas.

First, you seem to have setup Variable PWM frequency. Your PWM Frequency Low is fairly low at 16kHz. I will advise you to set both PWM Frequency Low and High to 24kHz or 48kHz to disable variable pwm frequency as there is a bug in 32.8 as I mentioned earlier.

Usually for motor desyncs the recommendation is also to try Demag Compensation set to High to see if this helps.

Finally, if the above still causes motor desyncs then try increasing the Motor Timing to 23 and go no further.

You might want to experiment with these one at a time which can be a pain but if you have an android phone or a laptop then you can experiment with these in the field.

But for the most part do the variable pwm frequency and demag compensation first and if that doesn't help then try motor timing.

Also take short test flights and keep checking your motors for heat.

Hi Kafie,

What do you think about downgrading to 32.7 ?

Thanks for your help!

Yes, I did suggest earlier to downgrade to 32.7 although the variable PWM function can be unset in 32.8 by simply settings the low and high pwm frequency to the same number.

32.8.2 is in pre-release state and should be officially released soon.

I was flying the QAVR2 ( not the QAVS) Today and had it suddenly stopped.  I think it was a desync.  I can't attach the video since it is too big.  This is the other quad that is doing the same.

The esc configuration and diff all are attached.

Please let me know if you see anything wrong.
